With Great Power Disney Dreamlight Valley Quest Walkthrough
Unlocking Dazzle Beach in Disney Dreamlight Valley opens up essential storyline quests that help restore magic to the magical valley. One of the most important early-game missions is the With Great Power quest, which involves meeting Ursula and exploring the depths of the Mystical Cave. Completing this adventure requires players to decipher clever riddles, cultivate specific crops, and retrieve a key magic orb.
Unlocking the Quest and Meeting Ursula
To begin this story quest, speak with Merlin after spending Dreamlight to gain access to the Dazzle Beach biome. He directs you toward a gloomy, fog-covered cave located on the eastern side of the shore. Inside the Cursed Cave, speak with Ursula to receive a unique Crystal Key that unlocks the nearby Mystical Cave.
Take the key to the stone pedestal situated near the locked entrance behind the beach's Pillar of Power. Interacting with the pedestal places the key and opens the path into the cavernous trial underground. As you venture inside, you will encounter three distinct barriers that block your progression deeper into the subterranean halls.
Solving the Gem and Crop Gate Riddles
The first Magic Gate requires placing three matching gemstones into corresponding statues. Place a green Peridot, a blue Aquamarine, and a red Garnet into their respective stone guardians to lower the barrier. These gems can be gathered using your pickaxe on mining nodes across Peaceful Meadow, Plaza, and Dazzle Beach.
Past the first gate lies the second puzzle, which asks you to plant three specific crop seeds in front of statues. You must plant a Carrot seed, a Wheat seed, and a Tomato seed in the designated tilled soil spots. Water each planted seed and wait for them to mature before harvesting the crops to open the second doorway.
Cooking Veggie Pasta and Fishing the Orb
After lowering the second barrier, you will find a cooking station that holds the clue for the final gate riddle. Combine the freshly harvested Carrot, Wheat, and Tomato in the cooking pot to prepare a serving of Veggie Pasta. Eating the meal directly from your inventory fulfills the requirement and unseals the final barrier leading down to the water pool.
At the bottom of the Mystical Cave, pull out your fishing rod and cast your line into the glowing golden ripple in the water. Successfully reeling in your line grants you the missing Orb of Power needed for the biome. Take the recovered orb back to the surface and insert it into the Pillar of Power located on Dazzle Beach.
Restoring Dazzle Beach and Finishing Up
Inserting the Orb of Power into the beach pillar immediately clears away the dark, misty curse surrounding the area. Return to the Cursed Cave once more to speak with Ursula, who reveals intriguing lore about The Forgotten. Finally, seek out Merlin to share your success, completing the quest and earning valuable Dreamlight rewards.
